When choosing a career path in the future, I’m will not only focus on the specific job of the position, but also pay more attention to the overall creative atmosphere of the studio, the style of the works, and the original projects for long-term development. Compared to relying solely on salary or scale as the measurement criterion, I would prefer to choose teams with the work and IPs I am truly interested in. For me, animation is not just a job that involves completing the production process; it is more a creative process that requires a long-term investment of emotion and enthusiasm. I believe that the compatibility of creative concepts is key to maintaining enthusiasm for work, because animation production is a relatively procedural and repetitive task, and only recognising the work itself will enable me to maintain a higher level of commitment and motivation to learn during the creative process.
At the same time, I also understand that the animation industry has a strong emphasis on team collaboration and realistic pressures. Therefore, I will not rely solely on “interest” as the sole criterion for judgment, but hope to find a relatively balanced approach to development that balances personal creative interests, career growth, and the actual working environment. Rather than short-term enthusiasm, I hope to maintain a long-term, stable creative state in the works and teams I truly identify with, and gradually develop a more mature career direction and creative thinking.
Although my portfolio and showreel have not yet been fully established, I have updated my CV. During my school years, I did not have any internships, so this CV looks rather thin and lacks persuasive power. But I still made the CV, because only by doing it can I figure out the flaws and continue to improve.
